Public Relations Associate

About the role

The Public Relations Associate will support The Purest Co and Purest Kids in building strong media relationships and creating compelling brand content. This full‑time position works closely with the PR, influencer, and social media teams to amplify our health, wellness, parenting, and lifestyle narratives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with journalists, bloggers and media contacts across relevant verticals.
• Write, edit and distribute press releases, brand stories and media pitches.
• Identify and coordinate barter, gifting and editorial collaboration opportunities.
• Monitor brand mentions and media coverage using tools such as Brand24, Google Alerts and Ahrefs.
• Compile regular PR reports covering reach, sentiment and key insights.
• Support influencer outreach and earned‑media initiatives.
• Collaborate with the social media team to create platform‑native content, including captions, blog posts, newsletters and short‑form scripts.
• Ensure all content aligns with The Purest Co’s warm, credible, science‑backed voice.
• Contribute to SEO‑aligned blog articles and assist with product storytelling and launch content.

Required profile

• Executive‑level experience in public relations or media communications, preferably within health, wellness, parenting or lifestyle sectors.
• Proven ability to craft press materials and manage media outreach.
• Familiarity with brand monitoring tools and basic SEO concepts.
