Public Relations Officer

About the role

The Public Relations Officer will manage the communication strategy for a construction project, acting as the primary liaison between the project team, residents, consultants, and authorities. This role ensures that public concerns are addressed promptly and that the project maintains a positive reputation.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate PR programmes aligned with the construction schedule.
• Identify and engage parties affected by the works, including residents and property owners.
• Handle enquiries, feedback, and complaints, working closely with relevant stakeholders.
• Conduct surveys, draft feedback forms, and gather insights on project impact.
• Develop and distribute informational posters and communication materials.
• Maintain regular dialogue with community representatives and municipal councils.
• Provide administrative support and assist with ad‑hoc tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum GCE "A" or "O" level education.
• At least 2 years of experience in public relations or communications.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Professional and pleasant demeanor.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Ability to create visual content using Canva.
