About the role
The Purchasing Executive will manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely procurement of materials for construction projects.
Key responsibilities
- Search, source, and evaluate potential suppliers/vendors, including audits to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Compare quotations, negotiate contract terms and pricing, and place orders by creating purchase orders.
- Maintain records of purchases, deliveries, and invoices, and prepare monthly purchase reports.
- Review product quality through user feedback and ensure adherence to company policies and SOPs.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff on stock levels and place orders as needed, while upholding safety and housekeeping standards.
Required profile
- Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant purchasing or supply chain experience.
