QA/QC Engineer – Civil Construction (Oil & Petrochemical)

About the role

The QA/QC Engineer will act as the primary quality adviser on construction projects within the oil and petrochemical sector. Based on Jurong Island, Pulau Bukom or other project sites, you will ensure that all works meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, plan and maintain QA/QC procedures and documentation for each project.
• Prepare for and attend quality inspections, audits and client meetings.
• Implement a site‑wide quality assurance programme, including training and assessment of staff.
• Monitor subcontractors, craftspeople and operatives to guarantee quality execution.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, architects, vendors and local authorities to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Oversee day‑to‑day site management, supervising supervisory crews and labour forces.
• Prepare reports on quality control and health‑safety matters and resolve technical issues promptly.

Required profile

• Minimum degree in Civil Engineering.
• 2–3 years of experience in civil engineering within the oil and petrochemical industry.
• Strong understanding of construction regulations and quality standards.
