QS Manager – Lead Quantity Surveying Team

About the role

Lead and develop the Quantity Surveying team, setting clear goals and driving performance to achieve project and financial objectives. Oversee project profit and loss by managing contract administration and cost control systems to meet financial targets. The role also ensures compliance with contract terms, mitigates risks and supports strategic decision‑making across the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and grow the QS team, establishing performance targets and monitoring progress.
• Control project profit and loss through rigorous contract administration, cost tracking and variance analysis.
• Design, implement and continuously improve QS and contract management processes to boost operational efficiency and resource allocation.
• Handle contractual and cost‑related matters, including negotiations, settlements and risk mitigation.
• Provide strategic contract leadership by applying construction law knowledge and collaborating with project teams, clients and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in cost estimation, tendering, procurement and contract administration for construction projects.
• Strong understanding of construction law and contract compliance.

• Expertise in quantity take‑offs.
• Proficiency in cost calculations.
