Quality Assurance Specialist

About the role

The Quality Assurance Specialist will support DSV's logistics operations by ensuring manufacturing issues are identified, contained, and prevented. You will work closely with workcentre teams, QC inspectors, and process owners to maintain high quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Validate and follow up on manufacturing issues related to logistics through regular meetings.
• Provide logistics input to identify defect causes via warehouse validation and collaborate with QC inspectors.
• Drive containment, correction, and preventive actions for reported logistics issues.
• Handle workcentre complaints, perform root‑cause analysis, and propose process improvements.
• Lead quarterly process audits, report findings, and ensure closure.
• Draft quality instructions, guidance, and stand‑down notices.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly logistics quality reports for customers.
• Conduct visual inspections and report non‑conformities.
• Support management in achieving KPI targets and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Experience implementing 8D and CAPA programs.
• Certifications such as Six Sigma or Internal Auditor are a plus.
• Strong background in quality inspection and auditing.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, GDPMDS, and other relevant regulations.
• Familiarity with manufacturing environments.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Proficiency with PC tools, especially Warehouse Management Systems and MS Office.
