Quality Engineer

About the role

Coalesce Management Consulting is expanding its team and seeks a Quality Engineer to work on‑site with a client in the Life Science and Technology sectors. You will lead structured investigations, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) in a GMP environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage deviation investigations from initiation through closure in accordance with GMP and quality requirements.
• Perform structured investigations into process, equipment, or system‑related deviations, ensuring thorough documentation and compliance.
• Analyse data, trends, and system behaviour to support investigation findings and conclusions.
• Develop appropriate CAPAs based on investigation outcomes.
• Facilitate discussions and challenge assumptions to ensure robust investigations.
• Identify systemic issues and contribute to process, equipment, or procedural improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant life‑science field (e.g., biology, biotechnology, biochemistry).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in deviation investigations within GMP environments (pharma, biotech, manufacturing).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment with competing priorities.
• Strong team player with interpersonal skills to work collaboratively at all levels.
