Quantity Surveyor – ACMV Projects

About the role

The Quantity Surveyor will manage the financial side of ACMV (Air Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation) and A&A (Alteration & Addition) construction projects. You will be responsible for cost estimation, budgeting, tender preparation, and ongoing cost control to ensure projects are delivered within budget and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for ACMV and A&A projects.
• Review construction plans, specifications, and drawings to determine project costs.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and propose value‑engineering solutions.
• Prepare and submit tender documents and competitive bid proposals.
• Negotiate contracts with contractors and suppliers to secure favorable terms.
• Monitor project financial performance and manage cost control throughout construction.
• Produce progress reports and financial statements for clients.
• Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with specifications and regulations.
• Resolve disputes or claims related to project costs.
• Provide cost‑related advice to clients.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in quantity surveying or construction cost management.
• Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and attention‑to‑detail skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Experience in contract negotiation and risk management.
