Quantity Surveyor – Construction Cost Management

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Quantity Surveyor to join our construction team in Singapore. The role involves managing costs throughout the project lifecycle, from tender preparation to post‑contract administration, ensuring financial control and accurate reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse Bill of Quantities (BQ) for tenders and ensure cost control.
• Perform measurements and cost estimates for civil engineering works such as roads, drains, earthworks and external works.
• Source quotations, negotiate with suppliers and manage procurement activities.
• Assist the Senior Contract Manager with sub‑contract works, budgetary take‑offs and variation claims.
• Maintain project cost databases and support budgetary cost control and reporting.

Required profile

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a civil engineering environment (road, drainage, earthworks, external works).
• Strong computer literacy and familiarity with construction software.
