Quantity Surveyor – Construction

About the role
The Quantity Surveyor will support construction projects by preparing accurate cost estimates, managing tender documentation, and overseeing project administration from inception to completion.
Key responsibilities
- Take off quantities for building works and prepare Bills of Quantities (BQ).
- Develop tender documents, perform cost comparisons and negotiate prices with suppliers and sub‑contractors.
- Administer project documentation, including sub‑contracts, variations, interim valuations and final accounts.
- Resolve contractual issues with clients and ensure smooth project execution.
- Prepare shop drawings, master programmes, method statements and tender interview documents.
- Maintain organized tender and project records.
- Perform any other duties assigned by management.
Required profile
- Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building/Construction or Civil Engineering.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Proactive, well‑organized and detail‑oriented.
Required skills
- Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD (required).
- Familiarity with MS Project (advantageous).
