Quantity Surveyor

About the role

The Quantity Surveyor will lead cost management for façade construction projects, overseeing both pre‑tender and post‑tender phases. Based at our Singapore office, you will work closely with clients, subcontractors and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on budget and on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed cost plans for tendering, including material, labour, equipment, overheads and contingencies.
• Prepare and submit tender documentation and negotiate contract terms with clients.
• Identify, assess and mitigate cost, quality and schedule risks.
• Propose cost‑effective solutions to meet project objectives.
• Monitor actual costs against the cost plan, flag overruns and recommend corrective actions.
• Manage variations, evaluating cost and time impacts and negotiating with stakeholders.
• Assess subcontractor progress claims, issue payment certificates and settle final accounts.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in façade construction cost management.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Preferable good command of Mandarin for communication with Chinese colleagues.
