Quantity Surveyor

About the role

We are seeking a senior Quantity Surveyor to lead cost management for façade projects on Jurong Island. The role involves estimating, budgeting, and controlling project expenses from tender to final account.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates and budgets based on drawings and specifications.
• Develop tender documents, evaluate subcontractor quotations, and support contract administration.
• Take off quantities from drawings, monitor costs, and ensure expenses stay within budget.
• Prepare and submit progress claims, certify subcontractor claims, and manage invoice follow‑up.
• Identify, prepare, and negotiate variation order claims with clients and consultants.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors; attend project meetings as required.
• Finalize project final accounts and ensure all costs and claims are properly documented.
• Maintain accurate records of contracts, claims, and cost reports; produce regular cost reports for management.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in quantity surveying, preferably within the construction or façade sector.
• Proven ability to manage cost estimation, budgeting, tendering, and contract administration.
• Strong analytical skills to assess drawings, specifications, and cost data.
• Excellent communication for liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders.
