Quantity Surveyor (M&E) – Junior Executive

About the role

The company is seeking a junior Quantity Surveyor specialised in Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) works to join its engineering and construction team in Kaki Bukit, Singapore. The role involves cost estimation, budgeting and contract administration for commercial projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates based on project drawings and specifications.
• Carry out detailed material and labour quantity take‑offs for Mechanical (ACMV), Electrical, Plumbing and Sanitary works.
• Develop and manage project budgets, monitor cost changes and propose cost‑saving measures.
• Prepare tender documents, evaluate subcontractor quotations and support procurement activities.
• Administer M&E contracts, handle variation orders and claims, and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
• Identify practical, cost‑effective solutions while maintaining quality standards.
• Assess cost and contract‑related risks and produce regular cost reports.
• Collaborate with internal teams, clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers to support project delivery.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant regulations, codes and industry standards.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of Quantity Surveying experience in M&E construction or commercial projects.
• Strong knowledge of Mechanical (ACMV), Electrical, Plumbing and Sanitary works.
