Ramp Process Engineer – Backend of Line (BEOL)

About the role

Looking for a motivated and hands‑on Backend of Line (BEOL) Process Engineer to support the setup and ramp of our next‑generation semiconductor manufacturing line. In this role you will collaborate across engineering and operations to drive smooth technology transfer from path‑finding and ramp to pilot production.

Key responsibilities

• Review and train on existing R&D processes, transfer knowledge to pilot production, and create a comprehensive checklist for successful hand‑over.
• Design, collect, analyse and report on complex process‑engineering experiments for multiple products while adhering to safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with R&D, production, integration, operations and hardware teams to meet checklist timelines and start HVM operations.
• Track and manage schedules, deliverables and risks for technology‑transfer and production milestones.
• Develop, plan and execute process‑engineering projects and coordinate training with R&D transfer engineers.
• Train engineers on film‑property measurement techniques, troubleshoot issues and interact with customers to resolve complex process problems.
• Design and implement new technology, products and analytical instrumentation; perform hardware characterisation.
• Generate internal and external documentation, specifications and support tools for HVM site qualification.

Required profile

• Experience in BEOL optics and semiconductor fabrication preferred.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and standards, including deposition, etch, lithography and metrology.
• Comfortable working across time zones and supporting factory‑side execution.
• Discipline in tracking and driving deliverables to completion.
• Flexibility to travel between South East Asia and the USA up to 30% of the time.
