R&D Internship – New Product Initiative

About the role

Interns will join an R&D innovation team focused on developing new products for renewable-energy and water-treatment applications. The position offers hands-on laboratory experience from early-stage material testing to later-stage process optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Operate ongoing experiments and prepare samples for routine analysis.
• Perform analytical measurements including physicochemical analyses, ion chromatography (IC), inductively coupled plasma (ICP), and total organic carbon (TOC) determinations.
• Collect, organise, and analyse experimental data and draft laboratory reports.
• Participate in team discussions on experimental planning and progress.
• For a full-semester internship, lead an independent research project under supervision.

Required profile

• Fundamental knowledge of chemistry, water treatment, and materials science.
• Electrochemistry knowledge is a plus.
• Previous experience in an R&D laboratory is appreciated.
• Strong multitasking ability and curiosity to improve the status-quo.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences.
