Rebar Foreman

About the role

The Rebar Foreman will lead all rebar activities on construction sites, ensuring quality, safety, and timely execution. This role reports to the site manager and coordinates closely with other trade foremen.

Key responsibilities

• Take full charge of rebar cutting, bending, handling, and fixing, assigning daily tasks to a team of 10‑20 workers.
• Provide technical briefings, develop weekly and daily work plans, and coordinate rebar work with formwork and concreting trades.
• Ensure compliance with design specifications for bar size, spacing, lap length, and concrete cover, conducting self‑inspections and preparing for official checks.
• Manage material delivery, inventory, and usage to minimise waste and avoid project delays.
• Enforce workplace safety in line with the WSH Act, conduct daily toolbox meetings, and ensure proper PPE usage.
• Maintain effective communication with project managers, client representatives, consultants, and other foremen to report progress and resolve issues promptly.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience as a Rebar Foreman or senior rebar worker in construction.
• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities, capable of motivating a crew of 10‑20 workers.
• Ability to adapt to a fast‑paced site environment and meet high‑intensity schedules.
• Singapore citizens or permanent residents are preferred.
