Receiving and Shipping Specialist

About the role

Micron Technology, Inc., a leader in memory and storage solutions, is hiring a Receiving and Shipping Specialist for its Fab 10N/X site. The role covers the daily operation of receiving and shipping functions in line with company policies and procedures, working closely with internal parties and forwarders on shipping arrangements and material delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Operate all receiving and shipping functions daily in compliance with policies and procedures.
• Communicate closely with relevant parties and forwarders on shipping arrangements and delivery of materials.
• Inspect the physical condition and contents of received goods and compare them with records such as manifests, invoices or orders to verify accuracy.
• Prepare shipping documents, invoices and packing lists for outgoing shipments.
• Take part in continuous improvement initiatives, including receiving automation, process automation and an agentic-AI approach to detecting problems, predicting issues and optimising performance.
• Promote a safe and green working environment by developing processes, procedures and training aligned with safety, quality and sustainability goals.

Required profile

• GCE O' level / SPM, or Higher NITEC (ITC) / NITEC (NTC-2 or Intermediate) / Diploma in Wafer Fabrication, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• No prior experience is welcome.
• Knowledge of warehouse, shipping or receiving operations preferred.
