Receptionist – Tampines Primary School

About the role

The school is looking for a friendly and professional Receptionist to manage the front desk at Tampines North Primary School. You will be the first point of contact for students, parents, visitors and vendors, providing courteous service and supporting daily administrative tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Handle front‑counter enquiries from students, parents, walk‑in customers and vendors.
• Manage incoming and outgoing telephone calls, record messages and direct calls to the appropriate staff.
• Assist with data entry, record keeping and compilation of student information.
• Support logistics such as preparing school materials, booking facilities and receiving goods.
• Process student applications for financial assistance and other support schemes.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by school management.

Required profile

• At least N‑level passes in English and Mathematics or relevant WSQ certificates.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Customer‑service mindset with the ability to handle enquiries professionally.
• Ability to multitask, manage time effectively and work independently.
• Good teamwork and collaborative attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
