Record-to-Report (R2R) Accountant – Financial Closing & Reporting

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Record‑to‑Report (R2R) Accountant to own end‑to‑end financial closing, reporting and compliance. You will ensure accurate financial records, drive timely month‑end closures and provide actionable insights for management.

Key responsibilities

• Execute full month‑end closing for general ledger, bank reconciliation, fixed assets and inventory, maintaining balance‑sheet schedules.
• Prepare monthly management reporting packs, analyse variances and comment on cost and revenue drivers.
• Handle GST, tax computations, coordinate annual tax filings and produce full financial statements in line with applicable standards.
• Serve as primary contact for internal and external auditors, strengthen internal controls and streamline accounting workflows.
• Perform ad‑hoc tasks as assigned by management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in R2R or general‑ledger accounting; hospitality experience preferred.
• Proven ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills for cross‑team collaboration and clear presentation of financial data.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Business Central (or equivalent ERP).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables and complex formulas.
