Regional Account Manager – Strategic

About the role

The Regional Account Manager is responsible for leading and managing the regional client relationship with a portfolio of Strategic Accounts, representing some of the largest global clients with over $40M in travel expense.

Key responsibilities

• Grow and retain Amex GBT Egencia's largest global accounts and strategic partnerships by ensuring overall client satisfaction.
• Drive results through strategic planning, building, and executing regional business plans.
• Represent the APAC region by developing business plans and initiatives.
• Create and deliver quarterly and annual Regional Business Reviews.
• Apply industry knowledge and market trends to shape travel solutions.
• Communicate product capabilities and value differentiation to the market.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability to work with peers across multiple markets or regional geographies.
• Proven ability to drive actions, lead initiatives and projects to completion.
• Capacity to build and present information in a concise, professional manner.
• Strong contract negotiation skills.
• Commercial account management experience, preferably within a travel agency environment.
• Experience handling accounts in the APAC region, understanding local cultures and business protocols.
• Self‑motivated with strengths in managing multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally (20%+).
