Regional Business Development Manager

About the role

We are seeking a results‑driven Regional Business Development Manager to expand our contract logistics and freight forwarding services across the APAC region, with a focus on India. You will lead new‑business acquisition, build strategic partnerships, and drive revenue growth for our logistics solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and secure new multinational and regional customers.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract closure.
• Develop and execute business development plans to meet revenue targets.
• Engage senior decision‑makers to propose tailored logistics solutions.
• Support onboarding of new customers and ensure smooth transition to operations.
• Increase wallet share through cross‑selling, upselling, and value‑added services.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to uncover opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Sales & Marketing or related field.
• 5–10 years of business development or sales experience in 3PL contract logistics or freight forwarding.
• Proven track record of acquiring new customers in a hunter‑focused role.
• Experience selling integrated logistics solutions to multinational and regional clients.
• Strong commercial negotiation, stakeholder management, and relationship‑building skills.
• Self‑driven, results‑oriented and highly motivated.
