Regional Data Sales – Asia

About the role

Our client, a leading global financial institution, is looking for a Regional Data Sales professional to drive business development across Greater China. The role will focus on selling financial data and analytics solutions to banks, asset managers and other financial institutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies for financial data and analytics across Greater China.
• Identify new business, cross‑selling and market opportunities through proactive client engagement.
• Build and manage relationships with financial institutions, data users and exchange partners.
• Lead client presentations, meetings and commercial discussions.
• Manage and grow the regional sales pipeline and accurately report opportunities.
• Represent the business at industry events, conferences and trade shows.
• Work closely with regional and global sales teams to drive coordinated business development.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 + years’ experience in financial data/analytics sales, sales trading or investment product sales.
• Strong understanding of financial markets and investment products.
• Proven sales track record with strong commercial drive and persistence.
• Excellent communication, presentation and client relationship management skills.
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese) to communicate effectively with clients across Greater China.
• Willingness to travel across the region.
