Regional SEO & AI Content Specialist

About the role

Shopee is looking for an AI‑driven Regional Content Specialist to shape SEO content strategy, run experiments, and execute content across LATAM and SEA markets. The role blends writing, SEO planning, and data‑focused testing, using AI tools to scale and optimise content while improving organic visibility.

Key responsibilities

• Design and run AI‑powered SEO experiments, including prompting frameworks and publishing tactics.
• Conduct keyword research, search‑intent analysis, and gap analysis to uncover scalable content opportunities.
• Track and analyse traffic, rankings, engagement, and AI visibility; turn insights into actionable improvements.
• Maintain content trackers, reporting systems, and regular performance dashboards.
• Plan and manage SEO content calendars aligned with trends, demand, and business priorities.
• Create, edit, and publish AI‑assisted and human‑written articles, category pages, and landing pages.
• Optimise on‑page SEO elements such as meta tags, internal links, FAQs, and comparison tables.
• Collaborate with regional teams to align content with campaigns and guide writers and interns on SEO standards.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience in SEO content or digital content strategy.
• Strong writing, editing, and grammar skills with cultural adaptability.
• Hands‑on experience with AI content tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude).
• Solid understanding of SEO fundamentals and analytics tools.
• Data‑driven mindset with ability to analyse performance and iterate quickly.
• Independent, ownership‑focused work style; mentorship experience is a plus.
