Regional Tax Analyst – Semiconductor Industry

About the role

The Regional Tax Analyst will oversee tax compliance for Singapore and Malaysia within the semiconductor sector, ensuring accurate GST, corporate tax, and statutory reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Singapore and Malaysia tax compliance, including GST, corporate tax, withholding tax, and statutory reporting.
• Oversee GST reporting, drive compliance initiatives and implement process improvements.
• Coordinate statutory and tax audits, liaise with tax authorities and external consultants.
• Support transfer pricing compliance and regional tax reporting requirements.
• Assist with tax matters for new Southeast Asia business entities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to strengthen internal controls and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Participate in ad‑hoc finance and compliance projects as assigned.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of finance experience, with at least 5 years focused on tax compliance.
• Hands‑on experience with US GAAP, SOX compliance and Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
• Proven track record handling IRAS tax audits and regulatory enquiries.
• Experience in an MNC or corporate environment preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple legal entities and regional tax compliance.
