Regional Tax Manager, APAC

About the role

As a Regional Tax Manager for the APAC region, you will act as a trusted business partner to finance and business stakeholders, translating complex tax issues into clear guidance and supporting cross‑border projects, M&A activity and tax controversy management.

Key responsibilities

• Provide tax advisory and risk management support to country finance teams, reviewing tax positions and provision recommendations.
• Manage income tax, VAT/GST and Transfer Pricing controversies, audits and litigations across APAC jurisdictions.
• Lead tax aspects of mergers & acquisitions and other strategic projects, delivering timely advice to internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate with external advisors and global headquarters to develop solutions that mitigate tax risks.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant, Chartered Tax Professional or equivalent qualification with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business or Taxation.
• Minimum 5 years of tax experience in an MNC or professional advisory firm, with strong international tax knowledge across APAC.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, able to simplify complex tax matters for senior leaders.
