Regional Tender Manager

About the role

Toll Group, a freight forwarding and logistics company part of Japan Post, is hiring a Regional Tender Manager. The role leads the end-to-end tender process: reviewing RFQs, coordinating the bid response, building compliant pricing offers and supporting negotiations after submission.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse qualified RFQ documents to understand client requirements, volumes, trade lanes and SLAs, and vet opportunities against company strategy and tender criteria with Procurement, Product and Commercial teams
• Flag issues needing approval from Legal, Finance, Compliance, IT or other SMEs, and act as project manager for the tender response, liaising with Procurement, Product and Trade lane teams
• Build compliant, competitive pricing offers, ensure accuracy against the customer's Scope of Work and submit proposals on time
• Support Sales and Management with data during post-tender negotiations and maintain tender logs and pipelines
• Use the company pricing tool, keep work files organised and track industry trends, competitor activity and freight rate changes

Required profile

• At least 5 years of experience in a multinational company and the freight forwarding industry
• Ability to work independently, handle tight deadlines and communicate persuasively
• Solid understanding of freight transport products and market nuances
• Entitlement to work in Singapore, with willingness to undergo pre-employment checks including a criminal history and medical check

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office suite (non-negotiable)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Power Tools, especially Power Pivot and Power Query, highly desirable
