Regulatory Compliance Associate

About the role

The Regulatory Compliance Associate will oversee member supervision, ensure adherence to APEX Trading and Clearing Rulebooks, and support the company's compliance with Singapore's regulatory framework. This senior‑level position works closely with internal teams and regulators.

Key responsibilities

• Lead supervision of members to ensure compliance with APEX Trading and Clearing Rulebooks.
• Review and strengthen frameworks, policies and procedures for member supervision.
• Monitor members' compliance with trading and clearing rules and take disciplinary actions when needed.
• Execute processes under the company's Trading and Clearing Procedures.
• Develop and reinforce a strong compliance culture across the organization.
• Implement policies to enhance APEX’s internal controls.
• Ensure compliance with the Securities and Futures Act and related regulations, including regulatory returns and breach assessments.
• Maintain effective communication with regulators such as the Monetary Authority of Singapore.

Required profile

• Minimum degree in Accountancy.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in audit firms.
