Regulatory Compliance Manager – Singapore

About the role

Coinbase Singapore is building a robust, scalable compliance function to meet Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) obligations. As a Regulatory Compliance Manager you will partner with the Singapore CCO and cross‑functional teams to advance the Capital Markets Services licensing program and maintain a compliance framework aligned with MAS expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Singapore CCO in preparing license applications, governance materials and regulatory submissions.
• Draft, review and maintain Singapore‑specific compliance policies, procedures, job aids and governance documentation.
• Maintain and enhance Coinbase Singapore’s AML/CFT, sanctions and broader regulatory compliance framework in line with MAS rules.
• Prepare clear written materials for senior management, board, auditors and regulators, including risk assessments and remediation updates.
• Track regulatory commitments, licensing conditions and remediation actions, ensuring corrective measures are taken.

Required profile

• 10+ years of regulatory and financial‑crime compliance experience with a MAS‑regulated entity.
• Direct experience supporting regulatory license applications, major change programs or supervisory engagements in Singapore.
• Strong knowledge of the MAS Securities and Futures Act and related regulations.
• Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders with minimal oversight.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for senior‑level audiences.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AI tools to automate compliance deliverables.
• Professional certifications such as CAMS, ICA, CRCM or CFA.
• Familiarity with digital assets, blockchain technology and crypto‑related regulatory frameworks.
