Regulatory Compliance Specialist

About the role

The NETS Group, a payments services group operating Singapore's national debit scheme, is hiring a Regulatory Compliance Specialist in Braddell. The role ensures the company adheres to all relevant compliance regulations, acts as compliance advisor to various departments and works with them to meet applicable regulations while achieving the organisation's goals.

Key responsibilities

• Stay up to date with regulatory developments and advise business units accordingly
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, applying sound ethical judgment
• Guide business units on how to comply with requirements in the context of issues raised during normal business
• Help identify and manage regulatory risk, including handling time-critical incident reporting to the authority
• Assess risk when business decisions are made, considering the company's reputation and key stakeholders' interests
• Develop and implement policies, standards and procedures to comply with regulations
• Develop, run and report on compliance testing, continuous assurance and compliance review reports
• Deliver training to raise awareness of compliance policies and regulatory requirements
• Manage regulatory requests and inform senior management of significant compliance matters

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security, Economics, Accounting or a related discipline
• At least 5 years of compliance experience in a regulated financial industry
