REIT Accountant – Finance Team

About the role

Lendlease Singapore is seeking a REIT Accountant to join its finance team. The role focuses on managing property‑level financials for real‑estate investment trusts, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Track and analyse property revenue, operating expenses (OPEX) and capital expenditures (CAPEX) against budgets.
• Prepare and support property‑level cash‑flow projections and quarterly/annual financial performance packs.
• Review, validate and record REIT accounting transactions, including GST returns and tax submissions.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, REIT Finance and other stakeholders for audit and compliance requirements.
• Provide backup for month‑end and year‑end closing activities, including journal preparation and account reconciliations.

Required profile

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance or related discipline.
• Professional qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent) preferred.
• 3‑5 years of experience in financial reporting, REIT, real‑estate or property fund accounting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, GST and Singapore corporate tax requirements.
• Meticulous, proactive and able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems.
