Reliability Technician

About the role

As a Manufacturing Technician you will work hands‑on in a cleanroom environment building and testing multimillion‑dollar display and wafer‑fabrication equipment. You will be responsible for assembling, repairing and testing electrical, electro‑mechanical, vacuum and pneumatic components, and ensuring they meet strict quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Support and perform reliability analysis jobs for process rejects, qualification samples and RMAs, delivering final reports.
• Plan daily and shift tasks to ensure timely completion and hand‑over to the next shift.
• Maintain tools, machines and the workplace to meet 5S and safety requirements.
• Contribute to capability enhancements, lab setup and technique improvements for higher precision and efficiency.
• Support internal and external audits and perform ad‑hoc activities assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• Diploma in Material, Electrical, Electronic or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) preferred.
• Understanding of reliability environmental stress tests (HTHH, TC, UV, LT).
• Hands‑on experience with analysis instruments such as cross‑section, ion‑mill, CSAM, EDX, FTIR and FIB.
• Experience with material characterisation procedures including bend, abrasion and adhesion tests.
• Self‑directed, willing to take on new tasks and able to work shift hours with overtime when required.
