Research Assistant – Psychology, Neuropsychology & Cognitive Neuroscience

About the role

The Centre for Lifelong Learning and Individualised Cognition (CLIC) at NTU is hiring a full‑time Research Assistant to support interdisciplinary research on cognitive flexibility and learning in adults and adolescents. The role involves participant recruitment, dataset collection, and assisting with analysis and dissemination of findings.

Key responsibilities

• Support recruitment of young adults (18‑30) from vocational institutions and the general working population.
• Organise the collection of datasets and ensure proper data handling.
• Overview and standardise protocols for data coding, entry and analysis.
• Assist with the preparation of conference presentations and journal papers.
• Perform other administrative duties related to the research project.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Neuropsychology, Cognitive Neuroscience or a related discipline.
• Prior experience conducting adult cognitive testing and neuroimaging (fMRI, EEG).
• Experience with participant recruitment processes.
• Familiarity with data‑management protocols and Singapore’s ethical regulatory frameworks.
• Experience in general administration tasks and producing research reports.
• Good statistical knowledge using software such as R and SPSS.
