About the role
Temasek Laboratories @ NTU is looking for a Research Assistant with a research background in semiconductor laser diodes, semiconductor photonics or semiconductor materials. The staff member will take part in projects related to semiconductor laser diodes.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in research operations, including procurement of laboratory supplies, experimental setup, literature review, evaluation of product specifications and establishment of safe work processes.
- Ensure proper conduct and documentation of experiments in consultation with the project leader.
- Assist in fabrication, characterization and analysis of laser diodes.
- Support project-related activities such as events, publications, proposal preparation, planning, monitoring and reporting as required.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Material Engineering, Applied Physics, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Good writing skills for writing proposals, reports and publications in good academic journals.
- Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply.
