About the role
Young and research‑intensive Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore seeks a Research Associate in Computer Science to advance AI solutions for smart manufacturing. You will join the College of Computing and Data Science, contributing to cutting‑edge research and publications.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct research and literature review on AI for smart manufacturing.
- Develop a new AI solution to determine optimal manufacturing strategies.
- Design and run experiments to verify solution efficiency.
- Analyze field survey data and perform comparative assessments.
- Write research papers to report findings.
Required profile
- Preferably a Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Experience and knowledge in manufacturing processes.
- Expertise in computer programming.
- Good knowledge of software engineering (a plus).
- Strong teamwork, verbal and written communication skills.
- Independent, highly analytical, proactive and a team player.
- Demonstrated capability to conduct innovative research.
