About the role
The College of Computing and Data Science at Nanyang Technological University seeks a Research Associate to lead and enrich research activities in computer science and electronics engineering.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and enrich research activities, including developing novel projects, prototypes, and artifacts.
- Formulate and manage research, industry, and external funding applications and projects.
- Spearhead collaborations with the research community, experts, and industry partners.
- Mentor graduate and undergraduate students toward becoming independent and innovative researchers.
Required profile
- Preferably a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
- Independent, highly analytical, proactive and a team player.
- Excellent teamwork and verbal, written communication skills.
- In‑depth knowledge relevant to the project domain.
- Demonstrated capability to conduct innovative research.
- Ability to formulate hypotheses and design effective experimental plans.
- Willingness to work flexible hours.
