About the role
The School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Nanyang Technological University seeks a Research Associate to lead the design and development of advanced receiver algorithms for wireless communication systems within the Signal Research Programme 4.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced receiver algorithms, including burst detection, high‑precision carrier frequency offset estimation, and joint demodulation and decoding.
- Collaborate with the principal investigator, team members, external collaborators and vendors to meet project milestones.
- Contribute to other communication‑research activities as required.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Communications Engineering or Computing from a reputable university.
- Strong background in digital communications and receiver design for wireless systems.
- Experience with advanced demodulation and decoding algorithms.
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink for algorithm development and performance evaluation.
- Ability to work independently, think creatively, and communicate effectively.
- Track record of publications in reputable journals or conferences is a plus.
