About the role

Join Applied Materials as an R&D Intern and contribute to cutting‑edge research and development projects in semiconductor and materials science. You will work alongside experienced engineers and scientists, gaining hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced innovation environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support research, product development, and engineering initiatives.
• Conduct experiments, testing, simulations, and data analysis to support project objectives.
• Assist in process characterization, optimization, and technology development activities.
• Develop reports, presentations, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive project milestones and deliverables.
• Support innovation, continuous improvement, and problem‑solving initiatives.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor, Master or PhD program at a local university in Singapore.
• Internship must be a mandatory or credit‑bearing component of your academic curriculum.
• Able to provide a valid internship support letter from your university.
• Available for a full‑time internship of at least 20 weeks between January and June 2027.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented, and eager to learn.
