Research Fellow – Computer Engineering / Computer Science / Electronics Engineering

About the role

NTU's College of Computing and Data Science is seeking a Research Fellow to advance cutting‑edge projects in computer engineering, computer science, or electronics engineering. The role involves collaborative research, experimental design, and dissemination of findings within a vibrant academic community.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with the Principal Investigator and team members to identify promising research directions.
• Design, conduct, and document experiments, and present results to internal and external audiences.
• Provide feedback and assistance to colleagues, supporting overall team growth.
• Support team operations and proactively take on new tasks as needed.
• Supervise junior researchers, develop research proposals, and help attract external funding when appropriate.

Required profile

• PhD (or equivalent) in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Independent, highly analytical, proactive, and a strong team player.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• In‑depth knowledge relevant to the project domain and demonstrated capability to conduct innovative research.
• Ability to formulate hypotheses, design effective experimental plans, and implement new methods.
• Willingness to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams and report project progress.
• Flexibility to work occasional flexible hours.
