Research Fellow – Embodied AI & Dexterous Hands

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated Research Fellow to join our team focusing on integrating multimodal large language models with embodied AI for real‑world robotic applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement vision‑language‑action (VLA) models and world models.
• Develop and optimise deep learning algorithms enabling robotic arms to perform complex tasks guided by natural language instructions.
• Utilise PyTorch to train and fine‑tune models on multimodal datasets.
• Experiment with and deploy VLA models on robotic platforms.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to advance embodied intelligence.
• Publish high‑quality research in top‑tier conferences and journals.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Computer Science, Robotics, AI, or a related field.
• At least four top‑tier first‑author papers on AI and robotics.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research and contribute to collaborative projects.

Required skills

• Deep learning, multimodal LLMs, and Vision‑Language‑Action models.
• Python programming with extensive experience in PyTorch.
• Hands‑on experience with robotic systems, particularly robotic arms.
• Familiarity with human‑robot interaction and reinforcement learning (a plus).
