Research Fellow – Trust Technologies

About the role

The National Centre for Research in Digital Trust at Nanyang Technological University is seeking a Research Fellow to advance Trust Technologies. The role focuses on developing privacy‑enhancing and quantum‑resilient solutions that support a trusted digital ecosystem for businesses and consumers in Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct research and development of privacy‑enhancing technologies for real‑world scenarios such as law‑enforcement investigations, quantum‑resilient encryption, and digital content provenance.
• Design, implement, and deliver working prototypes or demos of trust‑related systems.
• Lead or contribute to research and industrial projects within the Digital Trust Centre.
• Prepare scientific reports and publish papers in top‑tier venues.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Theory, Cybersecurity, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong publication record in top conferences or journals on AI, security, privacy, trustworthy computing, or post‑quantum cryptography.
• Solid background in privacy‑preserving technologies, including post‑quantum cryptography, homomorphic encryption, and secure computation.
• Experience with deep‑learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++ and Python.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary research team.
