Resident Architect

About the role

The Resident Architect will lead and supervise all architectural works for an LTA (Land Transport Authority) project on site, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, contractual and LTA requirements from construction through handover.

Key responsibilities

• Lead delivery of architectural works on site, maintaining quality and compliance with drawings, specifications, LTA and contractual requirements.
• Coordinate closely with LTA Architectural Team, consultants, contractors, RTOs and other disciplines (MEP, civil, structural, railway systems) to resolve interfaces and guide technical direction.
• Review architectural drawings, shop drawings, material submissions, samples, mock‑ups and method statements.
• Monitor progress, workmanship and quality; identify and resolve site issues, RFIs, defects and rectification works.
• Lead the architectural close‑out process and ensure proper documentation for inspections, approvals, defects and handover.

Required profile

• Registered Architect with the Board of Architects Singapore.
• Degree in Architecture or a related field from a recognised institution.
• Minimum 8 years of architectural experience, including at least 5 years on MRT/LTA construction supervision projects.
• Strong knowledge of architectural construction, detailing, materials, finishes and site coordination.
• Familiarity with LTA requirements, specifications, construction procedures and documentation.
• Willingness to work 5.5 or alternate 6 days, 8 am–6 pm.
