Resident Physician, Cardiothoracic Surgery

About the role
SingHealth is recruiting a Resident Physician for Cardiothoracic Surgery. You will join a multidisciplinary team providing day-to-day patient care in the cardiothoracic surgical specialty, working across outpatient and inpatient areas.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in invasive and non-invasive investigations and procedures
- Take part in all aspects of pre-operative, operative and post-operative patient care in the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery
Required profile
- Basic medical degree recognised by the Singapore Medical Council
- Relevant and recognised postgraduate qualification
- Passed the national licensing examination where the basic degree was awarded, if applicable
- Prior experience in an acute hospital setting is essential
- Strong interest in or credentials in research is an advantage
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Proof of measles immunity (vaccination or serology) and Tdap vaccination within the last 10 years, as required for healthcare workers; applicants without them may apply if they commit to completing the vaccines before starting work
