Restaurant Service Crew – Entry Level

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and dependable Restaurant Service Crew member to join TANOKE, a modern Japanese restaurant and sake bar located in a heritage shophouse on Purvis Street, Singapore. This entry‑level, full‑time position offers on‑the‑job training and the chance to grow with the company as it expands.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, present menus, explain dishes and take accurate orders.
• Serve food and beverages in line with TANOKE’s service standards.
• Set up, clear and maintain tables throughout service.
• Assist with reservations, table arrangements and group bookings.
• Support private events, opening and closing procedures, and basic cashiering.
• Keep dining areas and service stations clean and organised, replenish supplies and help with stocktaking.
• Communicate guest feedback to supervisors and coordinate closely with kitchen staff.

Required profile

• Proficient in spoken and written English.
• Positive, service‑oriented attitude with reliability and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable handling busy periods, split shifts, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Commitment to a minimum 44‑hour work week and immediate availability preferred.
