About the role

The Retail Operations Director will lead daily store operations at The WYLD Shop, ensuring a seamless omnichannel experience, driving sales growth, and maintaining high standards of customer service and inventory accuracy.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day retail operations to guarantee smooth store performance.
• Lead, coach and develop the retail team to boost productivity and skill levels.
• Drive sales targets, improve operational efficiency and deliver excellent customer experiences.
• Oversee inventory control, ensuring stock accuracy and optimal merchandising.
• Analyse sales data and produce operational reports for strategic decision‑making.
• Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) across the store.
• Support Shopify platform management and integrate omnichannel retail processes.
• Coordinate promotions, events and campaigns to increase customer engagement.
• Manage supplier and brand relationships to secure timely product availability.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry best practices.

Required profile

• Commercially minded with strong organisational abilities.
• Customer‑focused mindset and passion for retail excellence.
• Experience in retail operations, preferably in an omnichannel environment.
• Ability to analyse data and translate insights into actionable improvements.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace.
• Experience with the Shopify platform (advantageous).
