Risk Management Facilitator (Engineer)

About the role

The Risk Management Facilitator will lead the identification, assessment and control of construction risks, ensuring safe delivery of projects. This senior position works closely with construction and design teams to embed safety throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate construction risk matters with Construction Managers and the Design Manager.
• Implement site management risk and hazard policies and procedures to ensure safe execution of works.
• Plan detailed construction methods and sequences, identifying and assessing risks and hazards.
• Prepare and submit safety documentation including CNSS, CRMP, risk registers and other required submissions.
• Lead a team in hazard analysis and risk assessment to maintain a comprehensive safety and health hazard log.
• Facilitate the implementation of Design for Safety (DfS) principles throughout the project lifecycle and conduct DfS risk assessment workshops with project stakeholders.
• Review design drawings, specifications and construction methodologies to identify potential safety and health risks.
• Maintain documentation of DfS activities and support compliance with Singapore WSH regulations.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Workplace Safety & Health or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in risk management within the construction industry.
• Certified in Design for Safety (DfS) for PMEs.
• Familiarity with Singapore construction safety and WSH (DfS) regulations.
• Training in hazard identification and risk management methodologies.
• Experience facilitating risk assessment discussions and meetings with project teams.
• Relevant RMF certification or training recognised in Singapore is an advantage.
• Willingness to work alternate Saturdays.
