ROV Supervisor

About the role

The ROV Supervisor will lead a team of technicians and pilots to maintain and operate underwater remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) across Singapore. This senior position involves ensuring safe, efficient ROV missions while supporting research and development initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and supervise ROV technicians and pilots during all phases of operation.
• Maintain immediate presence and control of ROV activities, responding to emergencies as needed.
• Oversee commercial ROV operations to meet efficiency, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Perform preventive maintenance on underwater systems to guarantee reliability.
• Set up, troubleshoot, repair, and construct hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical components for ROVs and related equipment.
• Support R&D by fabricating, building, and upgrading new and existing ROV platforms.
• Ensure accurate data recording and management during missions for analysis and reporting.
• Work outdoors or aboard vessels, maintaining physical fitness for irregular shift schedules.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience supervising technical teams in marine or subsea environments.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and emergency response for underwater operations.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including night shifts and on‑call periods.
