Safety Coordinator – Geotechnical Works

About the role

The Safety Coordinator will support Ryobi Geotechnique in achieving its safety objectives across geotechnical projects. You will work closely with the WSH Officer and project teams to ensure a safe working environment on site.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in implementing the Company Safety Policy and WSH programme.
• Conduct daily site inspections, verify compliance with safety standards and government regulations.
• Identify hazards, develop solutions, and sign off Permit‑To‑Work checklists.
• Prepare and review Risk Assessments, Safe Work Procedures and Emergency Response Plans.
• Coordinate safety documentation, audits, and external inspections.
• Facilitate incident investigations, TBM meetings and monthly safety reporting.
• Liaise with authorities, professional engineers and other stakeholders on EHSS matters.

Required profile

• WSQ Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (mandatory).
• Advanced Certificate in WSH (Level B) with at least 1 year of experience as a WSH Coordinator.
• Experience in geotechnical engineering safety is an advantage.
• Strong English communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Own personal transport (motorcycle) and good health.
