Safety Officer

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Safety Officer to support our Safety Manager in ensuring a safe working environment across construction sites in Singapore. This junior‑level position involves implementing Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) policies and promoting a culture of safety.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Safety Manager in applying and enforcing WSH policies at project sites.
• Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments and monitor compliance with regulations.
• Investigate incidents, recommend corrective actions and maintain safety records.
• Prepare and update Safe Work Procedures, Risk Assessments and other HSE documentation.
• Liaise with project teams, subcontractors and authorities such as MOM, NEA and PUB on safety matters.
• Organise WSH meetings, safety training sessions and HSE awareness programmes.
• Lead and supervise the site safety team to ensure a compliant work environment.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in construction or LTA environments.
• Strong understanding of Singapore’s WSH regulations.
• Ability to conduct inspections, risk assessments and incident investigations.
• Good communication skills to coordinate with internal teams and external agencies.
• Junior‑level professional ready to grow in the safety field.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Safe Work Procedures and Risk Assessment processes.
• Familiarity with Singapore regulatory bodies (MOM, NEA, PUB).
