Safety Officer / Manager (Commercial)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive and detail‑oriented Safety Officer / Manager (Commercial) to lead workplace safety across our commercial construction projects. You will ensure statutory compliance, drive continuous health‑and‑safety improvements, and act as the key liaison with clients, authorities, and subcontractors.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain full compliance with the WSH Act, WSH Regulations, Environmental Public Health Act and other local safety standards.
• Develop, implement and maintain Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) policies, SOPs, documentation and statutory reporting systems.
• Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments and incident investigations to eliminate hazards.
• Support ISO standard implementation and champion continuous improvement safety initiatives across project sites.

Required profile

• Degree, Diploma or Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety & Health (WSH).
• Relevant certifications such as Work‑at‑Height (WAH) and Risk Management; additional safety certifications are a plus.
• Proven experience in construction site safety management, site inspections and regulatory compliance.
• Strong knowledge of commercial construction safety regulations and ISO standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
