Safety Strategy Operations Specialist (Trust & Safety) - Global

About the role

A global consumer internet platform serving hundreds of millions of users across content, community, e-commerce and advertising is hiring a Safety Strategy Operations Specialist (Trust & Safety) in Singapore. The role sits within the Trust & Safety team, covering risk monitoring, incident response and operational strategy optimisation, and suits experienced individual contributors at multiple levels.

Key responsibilities

• Risk monitoring and early warning systems: monitor platform risks, set up risk detection and early warning mechanisms, and ensure major risks are identified and responded to quickly.
• Incident response and coordination: coordinate cross-functional resources to handle policy-violating content, abnormal account behaviour and malicious or organised abuse, and streamline incident response processes.
• Strategy execution and operations: work with moderation and review teams to implement risk governance at the operational level and continuously optimise workflows.
• Risk analysis: analyse risk data and operational metrics to spot emerging patterns and evaluate the effectiveness of mitigation strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or above; preferred backgrounds include Computer Science, Data/Analytics, Law or Public Administration.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in internet risk control, fraud prevention, Trust & Safety operations, content moderation or similar roles.
• Familiarity with content safety risks, common violations and black-hat tactics such as fraud and abuse networks.
• Fluent English; Mandarin is a plus. Ability to collaborate across cultures and time zones.

Nice to have

• Experience in Trust & Safety, risk operations, fraud prevention or anti-cheat/abuse mitigation.
• Experience working with policy, moderation, outsourced vendor and global teams.
• Participation in risk governance or safety initiatives on internet platforms.
